As a part of the Barrington Concours d’Elegance weekend, on Saturday, October 3, 2009, our Road Rally will feature the Barrington area and the surrounding countryside.

The Road Rally, which is sponsored by Makray Memorial Golf Club and Good Shepherd Hospital, begins at 8 a.m. on Saturday with breakfast and a drivers' meeting. Automobiles depart at 9 a.m. from Makray for an enjoyable two-hour tour of the magnificent Barrington countryside. Along the way, we’ve added a little competition and planned a fun “scavenger hunt” of sorts, with questions to answer and landmarks to spot. It’s a rally where navigation skills and correct answers to the questions count toward your overall score. You’ll accumulate points and a chance to be named the Road Rally winner! Everyone from Concours vehicles to families in their minivans or convertibles can participate in the Road Rally.
