Northern Trust Celebration of Speed at
Autobahn Country Club: Friday, June 4

Autobahn is one of the nation’s premier motorsports facilities, and we arranged for a special day at the racetrack just for our Concours guests! The event was sponsored by lead sponsor Northern Trust, along with Porsche, Priester Aviation, DoubleApex Experience, Meguiar's and the Roadster Shop. All proceeds from this
charity event return to our Concours beneficiary, Barrington Area Conservation Trust.

A great day out for charity

The day began at 8:00 a.m. with breakfast and a drivers' meeting; run
groups begin on the track at 9 a.m. and finish at 4 p.m. This is an opportunity for car enthusiasts to safely explore their car’s performance on the 2-1/2 mile racetrack — or, you can participate if you’d simply like to take your classic car for spin around the track! We’ll divide up the participants into groups based on track experience, automobile type, and driver comfort level.

For those who don’t wish to drive but still want to experience the thrill of being in a high-performance car on a racetrack, non-driving guests will be invited to ride along with some of the experienced drivers.

Porsche was also be on hand to offer drivers and passengers rides in some of Porsche's most exciting new models.
