Nominate Your Vehicle for Our Event on Sunday, July 11, 2010

The Barrington Concours d'Elegance is now accepting nominations for its 2010 showfield. The vehicles will be displayed at our evening charity gala on Sunday, July 11 at Makray Memorial Golf Club. Exhibitors may also choose to participate in the morning Road Rally that day.

VEHICLE CATEGORIES & AWARDS

We will be selecting vehicles in the categories of Windy City Wonders, Exceptional Use of Color, and Rare Racing Bikes to make up our showfield of 40 automobiles and 10 motorcycles. We will also consider other exceptional vehicles outside these categories on a case-by-case basis. In addition, we will be displaying 19th-century carriages again this year.

Vehicles do not need to be fully restored to qualify; however, unrestored vehicles must carry a unique story with them. This year's automobiles will be formally judged (motorcycles will be in exhibition only); our distinguished panel of judges will be presenting several special awards in addition to Best of Show and People's Choice.

CHARITY BENEFICIARY

All proceeds from this year's charity event will be directed to the Barrington Area Conservation Trust, with the support of our founding charity beneficiary Hospice & Palliative Care of Northeastern Illinois.

The Concours is funded solely through sponsorships and private donations, which are all returned to our charity beneficiary after expenses are paid.
